Ask these tough questions to test your passion and potential
Seth Godin posted these 8 questions this morning and as I thought about my answers, both personally and professionally, it reaffirmed my passion for helping others. Honestly, helping people is what makes me happy . I love the smile on a client’s face when I help them find the answer to a tough marketing problem or show them the next big thing to help them succeed online. Really, who doesn’t appreciate some help?
8 questions and a why
- Who are you trying to please?
- What are you promising?
- How much money are you trying to make?
- How much freedom are you willing to trade for opportunity?
- What are you trying to change?
- What do you want people to say about you?
- Which people?
- Do we care about you?
(and after each answer, ask why?)
Take a minute to answer these questions for yourself and your business. If they seem too rigid, come up with your own questions based on the 5W’s & H (Who, What, Where, When, Why & How).
Any new insights that might lead to action? Any questions you would add to the list? What are your thoughts?
