Differentiate Yourself And Your Business For Online Market Leadership

I’ve been thinking a lot about online market leadership lately and what businesses can do to differentiate themselves online. You see, it’s so crowded on Twitter and Facebook and blogs these days that it’s tough sometimes to stand out from the crowd.

How do I differentiate myself and my business?

Personally, it’s all about pushing the limits and adding real value on a regular basis for my clients and friends online. That means shooting video, podcasting, blogging and commenting on other popular blogs within my niche.

Commenting on other blogs is a great community building activity that has significantly decreased over the years. With the proliferation of Twitter and Facebook buttons, most people just share content rather than actually reading it and getting involved in the conversation. Their loss … my gain. You should do the same.

My challenge to you is to think about what you can do to differentiate your business from the pack. How can you add value? How can you stand apart as a trusted source?
