Flipboard for iPad is a fantastic app for consuming content across Facebook, Twitter, Google Readers, Instagram, and a host of other predefined content partners. The beauty of Flipboard is the visual experience it brings to otherwise pretty bland text based content we see on the web.  Links in Twitter are transformed into captivating articles that scrape images and excerpts from their target source. Its my preferred method for reading online and I’m sure you’ll agree it’s a fantastic app.
